Argyle is located in the center of the Red River Valley about halfway between Fargo and Winnipeg. Argyle is fourteen miles east of the Red River located on old U.S. Highway 75. The town is protected from any flooding with a million dollar Army Corps of Engineers dike.

It's a community with a solid foundation of traditional rural values, and can boast of a proactive citizenship, whose efforts have resulted in improvements in both the physical infrastructure and in creating opportunity for the future.
